Universal Music is moving its UK headquarters from High Street Kensington to a new 177,000 sq ft building in King’s Cross, the label group confirmed on Monday. According to City A.M., Universal will shuffle its 1,000 employees — including teams from UMPG and See Tickets — to the building a few months after it is completed in mid-2017.
Universal is reportedly set to occupy the entire 10-story building, which will have a rooftop garden, a “destination” restaurant, balconies on every level and special access for bicycle commuters (see cycling directions below).
